I have been studying Yoga and Meditation with Nishit for over 10 years. He arrived here in Lima with his wife Rani, to perform the ceremony of my marriage to Monica Kisic. My teacher is a lover of music, and has a profound ear and wonderful voice. He is always listening to and singing along with Dhrupad, particularly anything performed by members of the Dagar family.
The second he arrived at my house and saw the piano, he planted himself firmly in the seat and began to play beautiful melodies. It was the first time he had played the instrument! I sat down next to him, and we spontaneously began to play together.
